Benefits

Why does the healthcare sector benefit from our services?

Why use Green Deal Group Healthcare?

Care providers, their funders, Charities, associations and businesses should take advantage of our whole house approach to energy efficiency and renewables.

We offer practical advice from concept to completion for the best possible course of action to take. This will in turn help to improve the financial performance of your care home. It makes good business sense to manage and reduce carbon emissions.

The Healthcare Team can provide an accurate level of control divided into several zones. We can aide you to have heating and electricity on demand without interruption.

Present and future government policy has ambitious proposals to reduce energy consumption in the UK. The intention is to provide incentives to reduce energy use and policy to enforce energy saving measures. Due to these policies and grants set out by the government, businesses are able to receive an income through production of renewable energy on top of the substantial savings that can be made. Once these policies are in place buildings that do not opt into schemes will find themselves at a competitive disadvantage to those that do.

An example of government policy is the mandatory Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) Energy Efficiency Scheme. The scheme is aimed at improving energy efficiency and cutting emissions in large public and private sector organisations. Qualifying organisations (such as Boots and Sports Direct) use 6,000 MWh/ annum, such organisations will increasingly begin to source more energy efficient buildings – The CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme User Guide.

We propose to prepare the buildings and owners that you manage for future schemes, whilst aiding them to take advantage of the current incentives. We will manage and schedule works specifically for minimal disruption.

Optimal benefit to be made from this government drive is to take advantage of the benefits at their peak (now) and avoid the drawbacks in the future.
